LMU Freight
Built a full freight logistics platform with 5-role RBAC, load management, and carrier tracking.
The Problem
A freight logistics company was managing operations across spreadsheets, phone calls, and disconnected tools. They needed a unified platform that could handle load management, carrier assignment, document handling, and role-based access for dispatchers, carriers, shippers, brokers, and admins.
The Solution
Built a comprehensive logistics management platform with 5-role RBAC, real-time load tracking, carrier management, document upload/management via S3, and a clean operational dashboard. The system was designed for scale from day one with proper database modeling, caching, and containerized deployment.
Key Features
- 5-role RBAC (Admin, Dispatcher, Carrier, Shipper, Broker)
- Real-time load management and status tracking
- Carrier assignment and performance tracking
- Document management with S3 storage
- Automated notifications and status updates
- Docker containerized deployment
The Result
Replaced spreadsheets, phone calls, and 4+ disconnected tools with a single platform handling the full freight lifecycle. Dispatchers, carriers, shippers, brokers, and admins each get a tailored experience with granular permissions, eliminating the manual coordination overhead that was costing the team hours daily.
